Automate Processing with the API

One endpoint, one API key. POST a file and a preset — get the processed audio back. Built for Make.com, Zapier, and custom pipelines.

Authentication

Generate an API key from your account (Producer tier required — one key per account, shown once at generation). Send it with every request:

X-API-Key: your_api_key

Lost the key? Generate a new one — this revokes the old key automatically.

POST /api/process-batch

Synchronous processing for texture, scene, and fidelity presets. Multipart form:

file — WAV or MP3, up to 50 MB / 5 minutes
preset — one of the preset IDs below

The response is the processed file. Useful headers:

Stem modes (stem-mixer, studio-acapella, persona-vocal…) run on the async job queue and are not available on this endpoint — they'll return 400 use_async_queue.

Errors

401Missing or invalid X-API-Key

403API access is a Producer-tier feature, or media kind not allowed on your tier

400Missing file/preset, unsupported type, or an async stem mode was requested

402Insufficient credits

413File over 50 MB (batch endpoint limit)

Errors are JSON: {"detail": "..."}. Failed backend jobs refund the credit automatically.

Credits

Each processed audio file costs 1 credit, charged before the job starts and refunded automatically if processing fails. Check your remaining balance in the X-Kroma-Credits-Remaining response header on every call.
